WARNING: It is strongly advised that you avoid picking the DEM race for your first character! They're an extremely complex race to play, they don’t have jobs and thus play nothing like the other 3 races. Because of that, this guide will not be covering them. But if you absolutely insist, the DEM 101 – Introduction to Machines guide can probably help you gain a better understanding of how they work.
When it comes to the Emil, Titania, and Dominion races, on the other hand, they're rather similar in playstyle. However, there are 4 main differences between them: their appearance, base stats, backpacks, and reincarnation benefits.
Appearance:
Emil are your standard human race. They have no special features like halos, wings, or tails.
Titania, being the angel-like race, have halos above their heads and feathery wings. Also, instead of standing on the ground like the other races, they use their wings to hover.
Dominion, being the demon-like race, have demonic wings and tails. However, unlike the Titania, they can't use their wings to fly.
Base Stats:
All the races have different starting base stats. As a result, certain races are more optimal for certain jobs. However, unless you really greatly care about min-maxing your stats for the perfect stat build, the stat differences aren’t a big deal. Don't let starting stats discourage you from playing the race and job combination you really want!
Here are the starting stats for the Emil, Titania, and Dominion races:
Emil:

Titania:
Dominion:
Backpacks:
The ability to wear large backpacks is exclusive to the Emil race. Titania and Dominion characters’ wings restrict them from wearing large backpacks. They can, however, still wear smaller bags below their wings. Since only Backpacker line jobs can use large backpacks, this is a non-issue for players who select a Warrior or Mage line job.
Reincarnation Benefits:
Once you reach a minimum of base level 100, you can reincarnate your character in order to obtain your 3rd job. However, you can choose to continue leveling your character up to the max base level of 110 before you reincarnate. Those who go further are rewarded in the form of additional racial reincarnation benefits.
For Emils, aside from the cosmetic level 100-102 benefits, the rest of their benefits come in the form of various Emil exclusive equipment. The benefits for Titania and Dominion characters, though, are entirely cosmetic. After reincarnating, you can switch between any of your available cosmetic options.
You can choose to just reincarnate at base level 100 and skip any additional racial benefits if you want. Do note that the decision is permanent. If you decide later on that you now the higher level benefits, it will be too late. Choose wisely.
